Behind the scenes: FW24 Jewellery Campaign Shoot
Crafting a new collection teeters on that fine line where reality blurs with imagination, especially with our new FW24 Jewellery collection. Inspired by interstellar symbols and trippy shapes, our vision was to create a cosmic trip for all who explore it. Join us on a journey through the phases of the moon, step into a world of cosmic wonder, and feel the enchanting dance of celestial bodies.
Each piece in this collection weaves seamlessly into a dreamlike narrative, crafted from 925 sterling silver, 100% RJC COC recycled 14K gold plating, brass, colourful zirconias, and vibrant enamel.
During a photoshoot for Anna + Nina, the team always keeps the specific vision of the collection in mind, ensuring that every aspect of the production is carefully executed. Here are some key considerations that guide the team during the shoot:
Setting the Mood
Before the campaign shoot takes place, the team crafts a Pinterest board to consolidate the shoot’s vision. Everything that catches their fancy gets pinned—poses, outfits, locations, make-up—this board is the genesis of the shoot.
Crucial Elements
For this particular shoot, we discovered a breathtaking location, fondly dubbed 'the blue house,' which wonderfully complements the collection. To bring everything to life, two of the most crucial elements are: 1) the right photographer and 2) a model who embodies the spirit of the collection.
Styling
To find the perfect styling, we scour various locations, from clothing rentals to our own wardrobes, and even our favourite vintage spots that let us hunt for hidden gems in their basements. From this treasure trove, we assemble looks, which remain flexible and can be tweaked on the day itself.
